How to play Ludo Royale

    Choose Play vs Computer, Pass & Play, Play Online, or a challenge mode from the Ludo Royale home screen.

    Roll the dice on your turn. Standard rules need a 6 to bring a token out of the yard, while house rules can allow 1 or 6, or 5 or 6.

  3. 3

    Move tokens clockwise around the board, then turn into your colored home lane toward the center triangle.

  4. 4

    Land exactly on an opponent's token to capture it and send it back to their yard (star squares and start squares are safe).

  5. 5

    Rolling a 6, capturing an opponent, or bringing a token home grants you an extra roll (three 6s in a row forfeits the turn).

  6. 6

    Classic mode uses 4 tokens per player. Quick mode uses 2 tokens, so rounds finish faster. The first to bring all tokens home wins!

Tips & strategy

  • Bring more than one token into play early so a single capture does not reset your whole race.

  • Use safe star squares to pause and wait safely when an opponent is stalking directly behind you.

  • In Quick games (2 tokens), prioritize safe advances because losing a single token costs half your team.

  • Review the active house rules before entering multiplayer rooms to see if must-capture or safe doubles are enforced.
